At Rome Ciampino Airport travellers have various bus connections available to them, when they arrive at the airport. Buses go to central Rome destinations, mostly to Rome Termini train station, but also to locations like Roma Anagnina, Rome Laurentia and Ciampino Station. 

Taking a bus into the city centre costs between 6.00 and 7.00 euros per person, one way. Buying a return ticket can be as little as 9.90 euros per person. Buses take ca 30 minutes from Rome Ciampino Airport to arrive at Roma Termini railway station. Rome Airport Buses also stop at Ciampino's town centre, at Piazza Luigi Ritzo.

Prices start at 30.00 euros for a one-way trip, and cost around 42.00 to 45.00 euros for up to 3 people sharing a private taxi. The official taxis waiting outside the Arrivals zone of Terminals 1 and 3 are all white, carrying a large “TAXI” sign on their roofs, and the municipality's official licence number on both doors, on the rear of the vehicle and inside the cabin. Some prices are fixed. For example, taking an airport taxi to Rome Tiburtina Station or Ostiense Station is charged at a fixed fare.

If you've booked your transfer to your hotel or business venue ahead via an official NCC carrier, you should follow the signs to the NCC waiting area. Rome Ciampino Airport's Arrivals Hall offers passengers plenty of choice with regard to retail, dining and refreshments. You will find a pharmacy, Italian and international cuisine (from pasta and pizza to burgers with chips), baggage wrapping services, a travel agent, fashion outlets and a wine bar, cafeteria and ice cream parlour, a currency exchange desk and jewellery and accessories outlets. 

If you are looking to rent a car at Rome Ciampino Airport, you will find car rental desks in car park buildings P6, P8 and P12. They are located at the entrance of the airport, in the access road Via Manueli. The car parking desks are inside these buildings. A shuttle takes passengers to/from the terminals to the car parking areas. When you return your vehicle at the end of your Rome Ciampino Airport car hire agreement, you simply drive your vehicle back to the same parking facility, where you rented it from.
